SL Shuttle Services- Healthcare Freight

Rather you need an emergency delivery of organs, a few boxes delivered in a minivan, or needing a freight of over 10 boxes with our freight box trucks, SL Shuttle Services has you covered.  We ask that the medical freight be booked within 2 weeks of freight order.  We can deliver your freight safety and with care.   

SL Shuttle Services  (Medical Freight) provides the following services available  for any possible solution or need:

• Small Freight: $175/hour/driver (Freight that can fit any car);
• Medium Freight: $185/hour/driver, and $.75/mile/driver (Freight that fit in a passenger van- up to 15 large boxes or 20 medium boxes;
• Large Freight: $250/hour/driver, and $1.25/mile/driver (Freight that will go into a box truck. 

We provide safe and comfortable medical transportation services for patients who need to get to appointments or treatment. Our drivers are trained in medical transportation and our vehicles are equipped with all the necessary medical equipment.  

The cost for short medical transport is $2.50/mile (can be any vehicle size, unless specified in the booking.  Long transports will be $175/hour/driver, $.90/mile/driver, and $150 return/accept fee (rather going to pick a medical transport up, or returning from dropping off medical transport).

 The fee structure is very simple with SL Shuttle Services:

• $150/hour (up to two people);
• Save $6/hour for each additional traveler (up to 12 travelers);
• The Holding fee is $50 (for any shuttle 100 miles or less); and $100 for shuttles above 100 miles;
• The Sitting Fee is only needed for travelers who want us to wait in between suggested trips while using SL Shuttle Services.  (For example, waiting for the wedding ceremony, and waiting for the reception, etc.)
• If you do "city travel" while using SL Shuttle Services, the charge is $2.50/mile.
• If for any reason one of our drivers are traveling more than 5 hours, it is considered Per Diem.  Our Per Deim rates are for the drivers at $95/night, $500/week.
• There is a 25% Deposit that goes toward the total due, at time of booking.
• All weekly shuttles must be booked at least 3-6 months prior to riding with SL Shuttle Services.
• All Daily shuttles must be booked within 3 weeks of your booking to have ample shuttle availability.
• All Pet Transports must be booked 3 weeks in advance.
• All rush deliveries for pets transports before 3 weeks will cost $150, $275 for rush delivery prior to two weeks, $500 for deliveries prior to a week, $650 for rush deliveries within a day.
• All Healthcare Product Transport must be booked within a month prior to needing supplies or a $250 fee will be added for rush delivery before 3 weeks, $500 for rush delivery within 2 weeks, $800 for deliveries prior to one week, and $1200 for rush delivery overnight.
• Rush pets and healthcare deliveries do not get added unless it is prior to the 3 weeks (or 1 month for Healthcare Deliveries).
• Cancelation Fees are $35 (for wedding, personal transports);  $75 (for team, business, private events, college-spring break travelers); 
• Acceptance Fee: $150 for travel under 100 miles , and $250 for above 250, and is only accessed to the bill if a driver has to travel to you with no passenger to pick up/drop off in your direction.  The driver gets paid for their time to travel to you.
• Return Fee is the opposite of the Acceptance Fee: it is used for when driving passengers to a drop off location within 100 miles (or over 100 miles) with no pick up in the drop off location.
• Acceptance/Returning Fees are added ONLY for local drivers within their given state/location.
• Gratuities are 20% of the total driving bill, not including Per Deim, Holding, Acceptance/Return Fees, or Cancellations Fees. But It does include hourly rates, mileage, and Sitting Fees.

 SL Shuttle Services provides the following Discount Program for our passengers:

• Senior/Student Discount Program: 15% off total drive fees (hourly, mileage, sitting fees, and gratuity);
• Senior must provide an ID that shows that he/she is 65 or older;
• Students must provide their Student ID, and Academic Class Schedule for the discount to apply;
• Nurses/Doctors Discount Program: 20% off total drive fees (hourly, mileage, sitting fees, and gratuities); 
• Nurses/Doctors would need to show proof of the clinical IDs;
• Military/First Responders Discount Program: 25% off total drive fees (hourly, mileage, sitting fees, and gratuities);
• Military/First Responders would need a  Valid Veteran Card or Valid First Responder ID;
• Your military hat, tattoos, invalid IDs, or a certificate will not work for the SL Shuttle Services Discount Program.
